East Clinic · Mobile app
An app for clinic staff: chat, training and tasks in one app for iPhone, Android and the browser

- Client
- East Clinic, clinic network
- Industry
- Healthcare
- Platforms
- iOS, Android, web
- What I did
- Design, development, store release
- Status
- Live, in active development
All people, faces, names and numbers on the screens are made up, except my own profile. No real employee or patient data is shown.
Staff chatted in personal messengers, training lived in files and tasks got lost between shifts. The clinic needed its own app, connected to the portal, with everything work-related in one place.
Goals
- Build a secure work chat with files and calls
- Turn training into short lessons with videos and tests
- Connect tasks to a calendar and reminders
platforms from one codebase: iOS, Android, web
sections: chat, academy, tasks, onboarding, colleagues, bonuses
reinstalls: updates arrive on their own
Highlights

Work talk moved out of personal messengers
Its own secure chat: groups for clinics and departments, files, voice and video circles, reactions and calls. Everything stays with the company, and a dismissed employee leaves all groups automatically.

Groups. by clinic and department
Calls. voice and video
Files and voice. with a built-in viewer
The clinic’s metrics in your pocket
A clinic manager sees revenue, first visits, course conversion and website requests for her branch. Each metric opens up: a daily chart, monthly forecast, goal and doctor ranking.

Revenue and forecast. by day and against the goal
Course conversion. with a doctor ranking
Website requests. where from and how many
Its own video calls with notes
Calls right in the app and the portal: one-to-one or with the whole team. During a call you can take notes and create tasks, and after the meeting you get the recording and a summary. Everything runs on the clinic’s servers, with no third-party services.

Video and voice. one-to-one and in groups
Notes during the call. and tasks right from the meeting
Own servers. no third-party services
Learning from the phone a few minutes a day
Courses made of short lessons: video, text and a quiz at the end. Newcomers start onboarding on day one, and managers see who stopped where.

Video lessons. resume where you stopped
Quizzes. after every lesson
Knowledge base. with search
Nothing gets lost between shifts
Tasks with deadlines and a calendar by branch: meetings, shifts and the day’s to-dos in one place. A task can be created right from a chat or a call.

Calendar. with shifts by branch
Notifications. as push notifications
From chat. a task in one tap
The employee profile
A large photo, status and role, awards and posts. A colleague opens the card and can message, call or see where the person works today. The screenshots show my own profile.

Status. “available till 7 pm”
Get in touch. chat and call from the card
Awards. for work and learning
The whole network close at hand
Colleagues from every branch with photos and roles. Finding the right person and messaging them takes a couple of taps, even if you have never met.
Oki is always at hand
Oki lives in the app’s bottom bar. Hold it and ask by voice: it slides down, listens, opens the right reports itself and answers with a table right on the phone screen. It’s the same model as in the portal, running on the clinic’s server.
OkiListening…Checking reports…AI assistantSpeak, then let go
Why are there fewer first visits in branch 2 in October?
Opened the “First visits” report by branch
Compared October with September
Checked website requests and doctors’ schedules
Thinking…

One codebase.iPhone, Android and the browser.
The app is written once and runs everywhere: on the App Store, Google Play and as a web version on the computer. New features arrive as updates on their own, no store visit needed. And it’s locked like a banking app: with a passcode and Face ID.
Cheaper and faster than three separate apps. A fix lands everywhere at once.
A new feature arrives on the next launch, no reinstall.
Passcode and Face ID. If access is revoked, the app logs out and wipes the chat key.
More than ten sections
Chat, academy, tasks, metrics, colleagues, bonuses, notifications, reviews and Oki. In one app.

The app became the team’s everyday tool. New features ship as updates, with no trip to the app store.
